What happens in Fencing I? Students learn the basics of the fencing.
What happens in Fencing II? Students will participate in group lessons, drills, bouting, and conditioning.
Why take private lessons in fencing II? Young fencers need one on one time to prevent bad habits from forming. They can then benefit from group lessons.
Why should I buy equipment? Fencing is more fun when the equipment fits right.
What if I have more than one child? We offer family discounts.
FAQ on Competing
Why should I compete? Fencing in tournaments is the reason we practice. Skills and development are tested, but most of all because competing is fun.
When should I start competing? After a few months of practice you are ready for local and regional competitions.
What equipment will I need? You will need electric equipment.
Are there different levels of competition? There are local tournaments for beginners. Regional tournaments qualify you for National Tournaments called North American Cups.
Could I be a National Champion? Our program provides an environment for every student to excel. Our Elite Program has past, present and future National Champions in many age groups.
What is the Elite Program? Students that are committed to excel are given the opportunity to maximize their development through individualized programs.
How can I be an Elite Fencer? You must be willing to consistently work hard and be willing to compete nationally. Talk to your Coach about your goals in fencing.
